Terra · Agarwood & Cedar
For moments when you need the ground under your feet.
Agarwood (oud) is one of the oldest incense materials in the world, used for meditation across Asia for centuries. Cedarwood makes the scent deep and woody. Terra is the earthiest of the four.
Hand-rolled in India from recycled temple flowers. Packed and shipped in Winterthur by ESPAS. No bamboo, charcoal or saltpetre.
30 sticks · burns for about 40 minutes
Light a stick, feel your feet, let your shoulders drop.
Why these incense sticks need no bamboo
Almost every incense stick has a bamboo core. It burns along with the rest and lays a smoky note over everything that is meant to be fragrant. Our sticks are rolled solid — no core, no charcoal. What you smell is the flowers and the essential oils: with Terra, agarwood and cedar. The smoke stays fine, and the scent arrives the way it was meant to.
What the sticks are made of
The base is flowers left over in Indian temples after the ceremonies — flowers that would otherwise end up in the rivers. They are dried, ground and rolled by hand with resin, sandalwood powder and essential oils: with Terra, agarwood and cedarwood. Every order is packed and shipped by ESPAS, a social enterprise in Winterthur.
Common questions
How strong is the scent?
Terra is powerful and lingers. In a small room, half a stick is enough.
How long does a stick burn?
About 40 minutes, 30 sticks per pack. Five minutes is enough for the moment itself — after that you can press the ember out in the holder and light the stick again later. Never leave a burning stick unattended.
Do I need a holder?
Yes, for safe burning. The Anima holder fits every Sibicura stick.
What are the sticks made of?
Recycled flower powder, resin, sandalwood powder and essential oils (agarwood, cedarwood). No bamboo, charcoal or saltpetre.
What if the scent isn’t for me?
Unopened packs can be returned within 14 days — just let us know by email first. Opened sticks can’t be taken back. If you’re unsure, write to info@sibicura.com before you order — we reply personally.
